Quick Start – The Eddie Kennison Foundation was proud to award our first scholarships on May 24, 2004 in Lake Charles, LA to four very deserving graduating high school seniors.

Scholarships were awarded to:

Bridget Montgomery, Washington-Marion High School - Nicole Roux, Alfred M. Barbe High School - Theresa Dean, Lake Charles/Boston High School - Joy Abshire, La Grange High School.

Eddie and Shimika will work closely with these young ladies to mentor them throughout their college careers, offer advice, and a listening ear whenever the girls need additional support .
